Steves Fine Wine and Food
Steves is a purpose-built fine wine and food venue in the heart of Nedlands, sitting adjacent to the historic Steves Nedlands Park Hotel, above the original underground wine cellar.
Boasting a stylish casual dining restaurant, bar, wine cellar and gourmet produce store, Steves Fine Wine & Food is the perfect place to stop for a coffee or breakfast, enjoy a long lunch, a drink after work or an informal dinner in relaxed surroundings.
Winner of the AHA Best Hotel Wine List 2010, the cellar is always at the forefront of the fine wine business, stocking an extensive range of wines from small boutique producers around Australia, as well as the classics and imported limited release rarities. It is the place for Perth’s wine lovers, collectors and connoisseurs to indulge.
Menus are designed to take advantage of quality local produce and complement the changing seasons. In supporting WA producers, Steves’ team is passionate about reducing their food miles and minimising their carbon footprint while maximising taste.
Head Chef – Brent Taylor
After completing his apprenticeship at Meads Fish Gallery and Jo Jo’s in 1995, Brent moved to London to start his career at Mezzo, owned by Sir Terrence Conran, and working under Head Chef John Torode. Following that he held the position of Head Chef in several restaurants in the Mayfair and Soho areas of London.
He has recently returned to settle in Perth after 13 years abroad and is enjoying the challenge of creating the menus for Steves Fine Wine & Food.
