Situated on St Georges Terrace, The George offers a new calibre of social experience in which to drink and dine in intimate and contemporary surrounds.

The Restaurant

The George caters for discerning restaurant goers and those looking for a stylish space to enjoy an after-work drink. Unwind with a choice of over 50 beers (on tap and bottled) and an extensive wine list carefully selected to compliment the menu.

Relax at The George’s champagne and cocktail bar, and let the bartenders stimulate your tastebuds with a collection of cocktails and premium spirits.

The London Room and Courtyard is the ideal location for your next corporate meeting, cocktail soiree or intimate dining experience. High tables, leather ottomans and a long, marble-top bar combine to create a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. Sit back and relax as you feast on one of the share plates and watch classic films on the big screen.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7am till late Monday to Friday, and from 5pm till late on Saturday. The George also hosts High Tea from 1–5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Head Chef

The George is a new direction for Telina, who previously cooked for London’s high society and most exclusive functions. Working for ‘Create’ in a team of 30, Telina was the Head Function Chef, catering for events included the Chelsea Flower Show, Madame Tussauds, Guild Hall, Royal and State dinners and functions at Tower Hill and London Bridge.

The source of her creative inspiration comes from several family members who are also chefs, including her father and her uncle, Ian Menzies (Head Chef at the Manjimup Truffle Company).

Telina has created an innovative menu for The George with a focus on delicious, honest and unpretentious food.
