Global Good Foundation
The Global Good Foundation‘s (GGF’s) mission and purpose is to create a safe and joyful world for all people affected by domestic violence through empowerment, opportunity and education.
With the ultimate aim of developing an Australia-wide network of education centres that will set the global standard in rehabilitation, GGF is establishing the first centre right here in Western Australia.
How Dine for Life guests made a difference
The first of Dine for Life’s dinners, held on 25 May 2010, raised $12,000 to fund the first Global Good Foundation (GGF) Education Centre for people affected by domestic violence.
Beyond crisis care, the WA-based centre will give previously disenfranchised people the opportunity to take control of their personal and financial lives through business and personal programs. And with the funds raised by Dine for Life’s Autumn Dinner guests, the GGF team is now able to start looking for suitable land for development.
“Being associated with organisations like Dine for Life helps us on the journey of engaging our communities and communicating what we stand for. Without these ingredients, we simply can’t meet the increasing demand for support,” says GGF Chairman Tenille Bentley.
“I have immense gratitude for Dine for Life and the dinner guests who have helped us take our first steps towards changing the future of domestic violence on a global level.”
