LONDON’S LAUNCH EVENT
Dine for Life encourages lovers of fine dining to share good food and good company for a good cause. We are working to foster lasting change in the lives of those suffering extreme hardship and in 2014 Dine for Life goes global as we proudly launch the first Dine for Life event in London, one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities and exciting food capitals.
The concept? One simultaneous dining event held across some of London’s finest restaurants. One fabulous after party at a secret location. 100% of the proceeds raised will go towards supporting Justice and Care who work to rescue and support those who fall victim to trafficking and slavery. Justive and Care work with law enforcement to protect victims, prevent these crimes and prosecute those who have exploited them.
“Someone isn’t ‘rescued’ unless the place and life created is one of healing and freedom in every way.”
Dine for Life was founded in Australia in 2009 and has hosted a number of successful dining events. From their first event in 2010, the Autumn and Summer Dinners raised awareness and funds to the tune of $12,000 for the Global Good Foundation and AUD19,500 for Samaritans Crisis Line.
Following that, the first bi-regional Spring Dinner in 2011 successfully raised AUD21,360 for the ‘Power a Pensioner’ initiative, which went a long way to helping People Who Care enrich the lives of Western Australia’s struggling pensioners.
And the most recent event, the 2012 Dinner raised an incredible AUD36,000 for SISHA. The difference this has made to those that are rescued and helped as a result of such generous contribution and awareness is invaluable.
Dine for Life is hosting its fifth dinner in Perth and launching it’s very first event in Melbourne in 2013.
