Mosmans Restaurant has long held the reputation of being one of Perth’s most elegant restaurants. Maybe it’s the chance of spotting a dolphin while dining with a view of the Swan River. Maybe it’s due to Mosmans’ to-die-for location amidst Perth’s most high-profile postal codes, or the fact that a meal here affords a very good chance you’ll rub shoulders with local VIPs, Aussie celebs or incognito food critics. Then again, it could simply be the fact that Mosmans serves amazing seafood in a magical atmosphere.

Once our chorus of cheers died down, we started to think… there are still three weeks to go before the big night, so why stop at 10 restaurants, 100 diners and $15,000 raised for the Samaritans Crisis Line?

Windows Estate is Wine Supplier of the 2010 Summer Dinner
Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010Dine for Life is thrilled to announce that Margaret River winery Windows Estate is on board as the Summer Dinner’s official wine supplier.
Windows Estate is a boutique, family-run winery located in Yallingup, Western Australia. The first vines were planted in 1996, but it wasn’t until 2004 that the Windows Estate were sold. Today, the winery produces an annual yield of 4,000 cases, comprising Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, among others.
We Have Chosen a Charity!
Saturday, September 18th, 2010Over the past few weeks the Dine for Life team was faced with the extremely difficult decision of choosing a charity that the upcoming Summer Dinner would donate its proceeds to. Since each dinner raises money for just one charity, the decision required serious deliberation. And the choice was made all the more difficult by the fact that all ten of the charities we were considering presented worthy causes.
James Young, Dine for Life’s Charity Manager and Event Ambassador, acted as the liaison between Dine for Life and the charity organisations. He asked all interested charities to draw up an application which explained how they would use the money raised by the Summer Dinner, were they to be this dinner’s featured charity.
